The main contributors to Malcolm's numerous descendants were his daughters Catherine and Margaret and his fourth son, Donald. But one never can be sure: descendants of his sons Archibald, John McMillan, and Malcolm McLeoran - who according to census records cut their ties with Southend between 1851 and 1861 - may be uncovered in the future.
Duncan McLaren, Malcolm's 5th son - see the Dalby Herald clipping below - had no issue. While official records do not attribute any children to Alexander, this website will suggest otherwise.
